At the regional practice tourney this weekend, Evan played 2.5/5 at first chair. The team just missed third place.

Fine run…just a bit nippy. The segment on TAL was about a high schooler in Chicago who visits his dad in Iraq…and then Desert Storm happens and he is drafted as an Iraqi soldier, gets captured and then falls in love with Monica (an American soldier).

Afterward: Cold, cold, cold…shouldn't even tried to run in this weather

After our first 1/2 Marathon: Tom, Jim (with son Isaiah), Stephany and me. I wore a regular t-shirt, clothy shorts and one-size too small shoes that yielded black toe nails and ITB problems( though, I might have to blame some of that on the lack of training too).
Ah, but this was the beginning.
