Schrock advances to state

On Tuesday, February 20, Korey Schrock (10) became the fifth CHS boys swim team member to advance to state.

Boys swimming sectionals a success

On Saturday, February 17, CHS boys swimming competed phenomenally at sectionals. Despite the small numbers and earlier worries of the season, the boys placed second to Northridge with 215 points, sliding by Central’s 190.

Boys swimming secures third place at NLCs

Despite the small team numbers, CHS boys swimming secured third place at NLCs on Saturday, January 27. The boys scored 204 points, falling short of Wawasee and Northridge.

Boys swimming steals three wins at NLC Prelims

At the CHS pool last night, CHS boys swimming stole three wins during the NLC Prelims. Alex Burtch (10) won both the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:50.2 and the 100 freestyle with a time of 48.55. He was the only competitor last night that won two events.

Central dominates CHS boys swimming

Boys swimming obliterates Northwood

On Saturday, January 13, CHS boys swimming took out Northwood. The boys won 113-70, improving their record to 5-5.

Last night at the CHS pool, boys swimming took a hit from South Bend Riley, losing the meet 107-73. Their record now stands at 4-5.

Boys and girls swimming both dominated CHS’ pool tonight, beating out Goshen. The girls won 100-83, raising their record to 7-3. The boys won 98-82, raising their record to 4-4.

Boys and girls swimming bested by Warsaw

Both boys and girls swimming lost to Warsaw on Saturday, January 6. The girls lost 98-88, lowering their record to 6-3.
Wins included: Gabby Ziebold (11) in the 200 freestyle and 100 freestyle, Brit North (12) in the 50 freestyle and Lauren Hardy (9) in the 100 butterfly.
